"The song Sway, by Paolo Sandejas revolves around two people who have reunited after a long time of being apart but instead of speaking to each other, they would just “sway” and cherish their time with each other. In my artwork, it shows the separation between two people, with one person walking away. The distressed background behind the two individuals would represent their feelings of confusion. However, the line that connects the both of them depict that these feelings are still loving and genuine."

"Through this poem, I wanted to express how in spite of these trying times, we can find hope and happiness in the simplest of things. The Pandemic has separated families, taken away sources of livelihood, and robbed people of their jobs. Amidst all these, I wanted to highlight small silver linings we can look forward to such as Christmas. It may not seem grand but I think as we await this day, we can use the Pandemic as a way to encourage hope, as well as reveal the true meaning of Christmas."

"I really relate with the line “ Mga lumang larawan At mga lumang alaala” because recently I’ve been thinking about the past more often cause the future has been pretty bleak."

"We cannot go back to the past even though the future is really depressing and dark and uncertain."

"We decided to use this design to show how we feel about our current situation because most of us really miss the activities we do as well as the people we see everyday. The pandemic has given us numerous hinderances thus we can not do or experience most of the things we want or have planned."

"I personally felt like the song represented the message that I wanted to convey, aside from this it’s not very well known so I thought it would be nice to bring some attention to it as well."
"I wanted to write about how (despite the current state of the world), we can still make it. Aside from this, I wanted to talk about how we aren’t condemned to our pasts and are allowed to change and grow."

This song reminds me that I shouldn't rush on having a romantic relationship and should focus on finishing senior high school and college then graduate and hopefully find a job because love makes time and no one or thing can take it away from you.

"I used this type of design because it was somewhat easy to do and understand."

"Both the song and the artwork conveys a message that closing off too much time by yourself can lead to self reflection. However, self reflection brings out negative thoughts that can consume you."

"I choose this type of song because I kept playing it during the quarantine and it perfectly encapsulated my thoughts and feelings, in a simple manner, during the quarantine."

"The message I'm trying to potrait into my artwork is that you'll never know who the right person is for you even you loved each other for years if your not meant to be all comes at it ends and you'll just become an instrument for the person to change and become better. When you risk everything for the wrong person, it was sad that the person who gave us the best memories will become a memory."

"Our group thinks that the song "Leaves" is perfect for drawings and representations since the song can be interpreted in many forms and through the symbols used in the piece, we are able to better convey our own rendition of the song and relate it to the current reality we are in. For the song cover, we know that the lyrics has such a beautiful meaning behind it, and it is very much timely at present which is why we thought that it can better reach out to people if we shared it through the use of music.
